CAM Post-processor

Post-Processor Guide #

For post-processors, you can search online for post-processors compatible with GRBL / GRBLHal / LinuxCNC / Mach3 / Fanuc systems.

Note: Most G-codes are identical across systems, except for some G-codes that GRBLHal does not support, such as G84 (rigid tapping) and G42 (cutter radius compensation).

Error Handling Option #

In the spindle and parameter settings, we have added a toggle option to control whether machining should stop when the G-code encounters an error.

For example, consider a G-code file with the following content:

O000111
G1X0Y0Z0F2000
.............

Explanation: O000111 is a common first line in Fanuc post-processor output. If the error-stop option is enabled, the second line and all subsequent lines will not be executed. Since O000111 doesn’t affect anything critical, if you disable this option, all the following code will execute normally.

Available Post-Processors #

Here are some post-processors collected from the internet:

UG 3-Axis Post-Processor

Fusion 360 3-Axis & 4-Axis Post-Processor

SolidWorks Post-Processor

If you have useful post-processors for other CAM software, please share them on the forum and I will add them here!
