PI_CNC 5-axis board supports USB connection to computer for use with host software.
Communication uses USB CDC (USB virtual serial port). Windows 10 has built-in drivers, so no additional driver installation is required.
Note: Only Windows 10 is supported. XP, Windows 7, and other versions are not supported.
Simply use the USB cable we provide to connect the control board interface to your computer. No 24V power supply is needed.
Go to My Computer -> Properties -> Device Manager -> Ports -> Look for a device named <to be added>.
If you can see this serial port after plugging in the USB, your computer is working correctly.
