The pulse/direction signal output interfaces for each axis on the PI_CNC control board are located here:
Each axis is labeled as Axis+P or Axis+D. For example, A|P is the PUL pulse signal for the A axis.
A|D is the DIR direction signal for the A axis.
These are 5V pulse/direction signal outputs, with a maximum frequency of 300KHz.
Common cathode wiring.
All these output signals are isolated using high-speed digital isolators.
To make it work properly, you need to connect a 24V power supply to the external terminal, 1A is sufficient.
For the 24V power supply provided to the control board, it is recommended to only connect light-load devices, such as limit switches, buttons, tool setters, etc.
A typical problem is when users use a single 24V power supply to power both inductive devices like stepper motors and the control board simultaneously.
