The controller’s general-purpose output ports use optocoupler + ULN2803A output.
Open-drain output with up to 500mA output current, so it can directly drive relays or solenoid valves.

Controlling Relays #
Below is an example using a common 5V relay module, controlling the relay switch with the M3 command.
After connecting the wires, enter M3S100 in MDI and click execute to hear the relay engage.
For 12V or 24V relays, simply connect both VCC and IN to 12V or 24V respectively.
